Title:
FILTER (JD-AXE38488)
Description:
John Deere AXE38488 Additive Dosing System Water Pump Filter Element is a genuine Original John Deere filtration component designed to help protect the water pump within the high-volume additive dosing system used on compatible self-propelled forage harvesters. The filter helps capture unwanted particles and contaminants, supporting cleaner fluid delivery and helping protect sensitive system components.
Designed for the demanding conditions associated with harvesting operations, the AXE38488 serves as a dedicated filtration element within the water-pump circuit. Maintaining effective filtration helps reduce the risk of contamination affecting pump performance and supports dependable operation of the additive dosing system.
The filter is identified by John Deere as a high-volume additive dosing system water pump filter. It is a specialised service component rather than a general engine oil, fuel or hydraulic filter, so correct identification of the machine’s dosing-system configuration is important when selecting a replacement.
As an Original John Deere part, the AXE38488 is designed for specified equipment applications. Regular inspection and servicing in accordance with the machine’s maintenance schedule help maintain filtration performance and reliable operation.
