Title:
CHAIN SPROCKET (JD-DC221262)
Description:
The John Deere DC221262 Chain Sprocket is a genuine Original John Deere drivetrain component. It transfers rotary motion through the chain-drive system on compatible baling equipment. Furthermore, its sprocket teeth engage with the drive chain to provide positive power transmission.
The DC221262 features a 17-tooth sprocket design for the applicable John Deere drive system. Correct tooth engagement helps maintain smooth chain movement. Consequently, it supports consistent movement and proper drive timing within the associated baler mechanism.
Moreover, the sprocket operates under repeated loads, vibration and continuous rotational movement. Over time, these conditions can contribute to wear. Therefore, replacing a worn sprocket with the correct Original John Deere component helps maintain proper chain engagement.
The DC221262 is documented for John Deere 960 and 990 models, along with C441R, C451R, C461R, F441M, F441R, V451G, V451M, V451R, V461M and V461R applications. Ultimately, using the correct sprocket helps support dependable and consistent baler operation.
