Title:
AIR CLEANER (JD-AZ45868)
Description:
John Deere AZ45868 Primary Air Filter Element is a genuine Original John Deere engine filtration component designed to remove dust, dirt and airborne contaminants from incoming air before it reaches the engine. Effective primary filtration helps protect internal engine components from abrasive particles, supporting dependable performance and reducing contamination-related wear in demanding harvesting environments.
The filter features evenly formed pleats and an increased amount of filtration media to help capture contaminants efficiently. Its design supports effective air cleaning while maintaining suitable airflow and minimising flow restriction, helping the engine operate reliably during extended working periods.
As the outer or primary filter element, the AZ45868 provides the first stage of protection within the engine air-intake system. Replacing the element according to the recommended service schedule helps maintain filtration efficiency, protect the engine and reduce unnecessary maintenance downtime. John Deere’s service guidance lists a 1,500-hour replacement interval for applicable models, with replacement as required.
Designed for compatible John Deere self-propelled forage harvesters, the AZ45868 offers an application-specific filtration solution. Checking the exact model and serial number before ordering helps ensure the correct filter is selected for the machine.
