The CASE CX250E LR Long Reach excavator is engineered for projects that require outstanding digging depth, horizontal reach and precise control. Part of the advanced CASE E-Series, this long-reach model delivers the perfect blend of performance, fuel efficiency and operator comfort for demanding applications such as riverbank maintenance, pond and lagoon dredging, deep trenching, coastal reinforcement and large-scale desilting operations.
Powered by the high-efficiency FPT NEF6 Stage V engine, the CX250E LR produces up to 133.4 kW (179 hp) at 2,000 rpm. Its Stage V after-treatment system uses a maintenance-free SCR and DOC setup with no DPF, eliminating regeneration downtime and reducing long-term running costs. A choice of four power modes — Heavy-Duty, Standard, Eco and a programmable User mode — ensures the excavator performs at its best in every application while maintaining optimum fuel economy.
The model’s long-reach front offers exceptional geometry, with a maximum reach of approx. 18 metres and a digging depth exceeding 14 metres (values dependent on final specification). This extended working envelope allows operators to complete tasks safely from a distance, reducing the need for machine repositioning and improving productivity. A reinforced boom and arm structure, paired with a durable undercarriage, ensures long service life even under sustained heavy workloads.
The CASE Intelligent Hydraulic System (CIHS) enhances controllability, providing smooth movement coordination and precise control during long-reach work. Auto Power Boost automatically increases hydraulic power when needed for tougher digging conditions, while the advanced cooling system keeps the machine performing efficiently in challenging environments.
Operator comfort is prioritised with a modern, spacious cab offering reduced noise levels, improved HVAC performance, adjustable seating and a large 10-inch touchscreen display. The machine is also equipped with side and rear cameras for enhanced visibility in tight or obstructed locations.
